Stichting NNVO en voormalig directeur mevrouw L.G. Biber-Klever hebben een schikking getroffen om hun arbeidsconflict te kunnen afsluiten. 

In deze rubriek laten we elke maand een medewerker van NNVO aan het woord. Hij of zij vertelt iets over zichzelf en over het werk bij NNVO. Deze maand is het de beurt aan VTS-adviseur Jacob Dekker. 

Het gebruik van het Single Window for Inland Navigation verloopt tot nu toe zeer vlot, zo laat North Sea Port weten. Dit slimme communicatieplatform werd op 4 januari 2021 gelanceerd. 

Een groep van twaalf cursisten wordt de komende maanden bij NNVO opgeleid voor de functie van VTSO (Vessel Traffic Service Operator). De nieuwe cursisten werden op donderdag 7 januari in Rotterdam welkom geheten.

NNVO wishes all participants, trainers, trainees and other relations happy holidays and a healthy and successful 2021. The NNVO team will also celebrate Christmas and the New Year, although it will be different this time. 

After a pilot for trainees, on Thursday 3 December it was time for a testing day for coaches. They also started working with the exercises of Poseidon, the new e-learning for future VTS operators. 

Every month, under the heading ‘Getting acquainted with…’ we give the floor to an NNVO employee. He or she tells something about him- or herself and about working at NNVO. This month this is none other than de new NNVO Director: Pieter Kuijt. 

The NNVO website has for the greater part been translated into English, which means that also our international visitors will now have access to important information. NNVO expects in this way to have responded to a need.
